Mariska Hargitay Celebrates ‘Replenishment’ As She Relaxes in Black Swimsuit

Mariska Hargitay took a well-deserved vacation from her busy day-to-day life acting on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, giving fans a look at how she relaxes in the sun in a new snap.

While telling fans to "Work Hard then R and R," Hargitay shared a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a black swimsuit and matching sunglasses as she posed in a glimmering pool. With the water rippling around her, a bigger body of water and what looked to be an island filled the horizon behind her.

The actress' Instagram caption continued as she called the water "the great rejuvenator" before declaring that she was "Grateful for this replenishment💙."

Hargitay didn't share when or where the photo was taken, but fans were jealous of the picturesque views.

"Holy wow, that view is GORGEOUS, and so is the water and sky 😉," one fan wrote, while another said, "Wow! That looks like paradise!! Enjoy it, Queen. You so deserve it!" Others called the photo "breathtaking," "absolutely gorgeous" and "beautiful."

Many Law & Order: SVU fans also took a moment to cheer on Hargitay in the comments for her recent work on the popular crime drama, both in front of and behind the camera. While she has now been playing her Olivia Benson character for decades, she has also directed a handful of episodes for the show, including a new episode that aired on April 11 called "Children of Wolves."

"After another great SVU episode directed by you this week, well deserved indeed!❤️🔥," an Instagram follower commented on Hargitay's sunny photo, as others also complimented her on her hard work.

The crime drama is currently airing its 25th season, a major accomplishment for any television series. Along with Hargitay, Law & Order: SVU currently stars Ice-T, Peter Scanavino, Ryan Buggle and more.
