Nick Wayne To Make AEW Debut On 7/12 AEW Dynamite

Nick Wayne‘s AEW debut has been announced.
Wayne defeated AEW star Swerve Strickland to win the DEFY Championship at the DEFY Wrestling show on April 8. After the match, Strickland announced that he will face Wayne on the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, which will be held in Saskatoon, Canada. The match will mark Wayne’s AEW debut, and it will come one day after his 18th birthday.

In February 2022, AEW signed Wayne to an apprenticeship deal, which meant that he would have to wait until he turned 18 to actually wrestle for the company. Wayne appeared on the January 4 episode of AEW Dynamite; he was in the crowd, and he interacted with Darby Allin before Allin beat Samoa Joe to win the TNT Championship.
