Offset has revealed that his next studio album will be released in February 2024, just months after the rollout for his acclaimed sophomore effort Set It Off last month.

Speaking with TMZ on Saturday (Nov. 6), the Atlanta rep gave the outlet an “exclusive” by announcing that he would be dropping his next musical project sooner rather than later. He also revealed that he has been working with his eldest son Jordan, but was relatively mum on the details surrounding the collaboration, which he indicated will be available on Friday (Nov. 10).

Set It Off was released on Oct. 13 through Motown, his first full-length release following his departure from Quality Control Music. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 with 70,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week of release, according to Luminate. It housed hit singles “Jealousy” featuring Cardi B and the Don Toliver-assisted cut “Worth It.” Additional contributors to Set It Off included Travis Scott, Future, Latto, Chlöe, Mango Foo, and Young Nudy, with Offset himself also assisting on the production.

Rapper Offset poses on the runway during the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2022 show as part of Paris Fashion Week at Theatre Du Chatelet on October 02, 2021 in Paris, France.

Earlier this year, the 31-year-old shared his belief that the decline in metrics involving rap releases is due to uninspiring content and a lack of diversity in sound. “I’m noticing that the no content music ain’t catching nobody’s ear. I’m noticing that the numbers are down in our genre specifically because I feel like everything is so the same,” the “Clout” rapper said at the time.

“The next new ni**a is another ni**a that was just here. It’s nothing new being brought to the game. Not just on the sound side, but just all the way around as creatively, too. Most videos be like a Rolls Royce in the background, some chains on, and that sh*t getting boring, fellas.”

In 2019, Offset released his debut studio album, Father of 4, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the hits “Red Room” and “Clout” featuring his wife, Cardi B. The album was certified Gold for amassing at least 500,000 album-equivalent sales the following year.
