Omarosa Says America Is ‘Not Gonna Be OK’ Under Trump (Video)

Omarosa Manigault opened up about her stint in the Trump administration on “Celebrity Big Brother” on Thursday, warning that the country is ” not going to be okay” with the former reality star in the White House.

Manigault, who was a contestant on Trump’s “The Apprentice,” told Ross Mathews that she felt a “call to duty” to serve in the administration when her former boss won the 2016 presidential election, but once he took office, things went south.

“I was haunted by tweets every single day. What is he gonna tweet next?” she told Mathews through tears. “I mean, I tried to be that [stabilizing] person, and then all of the people around him attacked me.”

White House Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah brushed off Manigault’s comments when asked about them at the press briefing on Thursday.

“Omarosa was fired three times on ‘The Apprentice’ and this is the fourth time we let her go,” said Shah to a smattering of laughter. “She had limited contact with the president while here. She has no contact now.”

“Celebrity Big Brother” airs Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, followed by another live episode on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
