Will Ospreay Claps Back, Hopes $18,000 Rolex Makes Up For Him ‘Looking Like A Bum’

Will Ospreay has shot back at a fan who doesn’t think he dresses like a champion.

The AEW star has become a huge star in the company since starting full-time in March. After beating Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution, he has gone from strength to strength. Will Ospreay has put on incredible matches with the likes of Bryan Danielson and Roderick Strong.

He has even picked up championship gold, winning the AEW International Championship from Strong at AEW Double or Nothing. He could make himself a double champ, if he can beat Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door for the AEW World title.

However, one fan doesn’t think he is dressing the part. User “SittingNGorrila” accused him of not dressing like a champion, and calling Ospreay a “bum” for his outfit on AEW Dynamite,

“I like Will Ospreay but will someone show him how to F*CKIN DRESS LIKE A CHAMPION?!?! IT’S NOT HARD! Throw on a f*ckin suit you bum!! This is embarrassing!”

Not one to just sit back and take it, Will Ospreay was quick to clap back. He explained how he dresses just like people around his area of Essex do, and he is simply dressing as his comfortable, authentic self.

The Englishmen posted a photo of his $18,000 Rolex watch, mockingly asking if that makes him look like “less of a bum”.

“I appreciate your view on how a champion should dress bruv. But this is how most of the lads round my area in Essex dress aye and for me to feel comfortable delivering my most authentic self I have to stay true. Hope this $18,000 Rolex made up for looking like a “bum””

Will Ospreay definitely got the last laugh, and continues to dress as the champion that he is.
