Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover Reveal Their Comfort Movies — Including Who Will Watch “The Holiday” 'in July'

The 'Southern Charm' star told his 'Summer House' girlfriend of their first meeting: "I just knew that you were my person. I didn't know why at the time. I was like 'I'm gonna marry that girl'"

Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover are putting their relationship knowledge to the test!

While taking Elite Daily’s “Couple’s Quiz,” the Summer House star and her boyfriend from Southern Charm gave fans deeper insight into their romance — including the fun little quirks they each bring to the table.

DeSorbo, 31, kicked off the questions by asking what Conover, 34, believed was her “first impression” of him. The Sewing Down South co-founder joked that she thought he was “the hottest man alive” before retracting his statement and answering honestly, “I think you were probably like, ‘He’s kind of cute and adorable and stupid.’”

“Yeah, I thought that you were very loud and, like, took over the room,” DeSorbo agreed, adding how she “ran away” upon their first introduction.

As for Conover’s initial impression of his girlfriend, DeSorbo quipped she was sure he'd “never seen someone that classy and elegant and gorgeous and funny and down-to-earth” as her until they met.

“I actually didn’t think any of those things,” Conover interrupted with a smile. “I just knew that you were my person. I didn’t know why at the time. I was like ‘I’m gonna marry that girl.’”

The couple went on to share items each other can’t live without. According to DeSorbo, Conover will never let go of “soup or cheese” while Conover claimed his fashionista love can’t live without “outfits.”

“Well, yeah, like any human, they need to be clothed,” she deadpanned.

After discussing their zodiac signs, they delved into the inspirations for their names, with Conover sharing he goes by his father William's middle name and the Giggly Squad podcast host revealing her parents took a cue from Nicollette Sheridan’s character on the '80s primetime soap opera Knots Landing.

When asked about their tell-tale emotional signs, Conover said he can always “tell” his girlfriend is “mad” if she takes her own trash out. “It drives me nuts,” he added.

She agreed and laughed, “If you see me carrying my own suitcase, I'm livid about something because I don't need a man to do anything for me. So I will lift a 200-lb. suitcase just to make a point.”

While DeSorbo’s tells may be a bit more subtle, she shared that Conover will usually “say you’re mad” if he’s upset about something. “You don’t have like signs,” she said before he noted, “Yeah, I communicate.”

Elsewhere, Conover shared that loves to watch “anything Christmas” and will even “watch Christmas movies" like The Holiday "in July” — though DeSorbo admitted, “It’s not my vibe.”

The fashion influencer, however, does vibe with My Cousin Vinny, which she shares is her ultimate comfort movie.

Getting into character with the end of one of Marisa Tomei's signature speech from her Oscar-winning turn in the 1992 legal comedy, DeSorbo recited: “So I ask ya, would you give a f--- what kind of pants this son of a bitch that shot ya was wearing?”

DeSorbo later confirmed that her “celebrity crush” wasn’t Conover but Jon Hamm, and Conover revealed that his favorite episode of Southern Charm to film was the Sewing Down South Christmas party or “any one where you’re around.”

The couple concluded their Q&A by sharing their love languages.

“I’m a black cat, I like attention and then I like you to leave me alone,” DeSorbo quipped as Conover revealed his language consisted of “quality time and physical touch.”

“What’s the hardest for you to give?” he asked. She sheepishly admitted: “Words of affirmation.”
