The new season of Bel-Air is set to be a scorcher as Peacock unveils its official teaser.

In the minute-long preview, we see Will (Jabari Banks) and Carlton (Olly Sholotan) preparing for a Fast And Furious-level street race. “You a bad boy, Will Smith,” a voice narrates as a nervous Will grips the steering wheel. As the dynamic duo gears up to “have the summer on lock,” things around them have their own set of challenges.

Hilary (Coco Jones) is leveling up career-wise, but her personal life may spiral beyond her control. Meanwhile, Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) is afraid of his past catching up to his present as Aunt Viv (Cassandra Freeman) and Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) face challenges that threaten them from every angle. Ashley (Akira Akbar) starts to experience love for herself — and that’s just a taste of what’s to come in the new season.

When the first-look photos dropped in late May, the series’ showrunner/writer/executive producer Carla Banks Waddles teased in a statement that the new season will “explore questions like, how do you prove yourself in a world that views you in limited ways? How do you reach beyond your comfort zone to create new opportunities for yourself? How does a family rebuild broken trust?” as well as look at how gentrification in South Los Angeles impacts them all.

Series creator Morgan Cooper said the new season will have “a little more kick to it,” adding, “The colors are more vibrant, the sound is elevated, the cinematography is more immersive. The vibe really sets the tone for Will’s first Bel-Air summer: Three months to shine, explore, and make moves under the LA sun.”

Season three of Bel-Air will premiere on August 15 with three new episodes. Stream it on Peacock here.
