Comedian Pete Davidson will perform in Indianapolis next week.

He’ll perform at Oct. 18 at Old National Centre’s Egyptian Room, 502 N. New Jersey St.

Who is Pete Davidson?

Davidson, 29, joined the cast of late-night sketch comedy series “Saturday Night Live” in 2014 at age 20. He left the series in its 47th season in 2022.

Much of his work has been based on his own life, including his relationships, marijuana use and the loss of his father during the September 11 attacks. He was diagnosed with Crohn's disease as a teenager and later with borderline personality disorder.

He has dozens of tattoos, including portraits of Hillary Clinton and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and a big reputation, thanks to ex Ariana Grande.

Comedian and former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Pete Davidson's stand-up show is coming to Egyptian Room at Old National Centre, 502 N. New Jersey St., Indianapolis, on Oct. 18.

'SNL' host

Davidson will be fresh-ish from guest hosting the Oct. 14 season premiere of "Saturday Night Live," with Ice Spice as musical guest. (He’s doing a couple of shows in Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 17.)

He had been scheduled to host SNL in May, but the episode was canceled due to the Writers Guild of America strike.

No phones

The Oct. 18 performance is a phone-free experience. The use of phones, smart watches and accessories will be prohibited in the performance space.

The show starts at 7 p.m.
