Pharrell’s Spring 2025 Louis Vuitton Men’s Shoe Collection Updates the Mary-Jane and Cowboy Boot, Adds Soccer-Inspired Sneakers

For the spring/summer 2025 season, Louis Vuitton men’s creative director Pharrell Williams took the idea of traveling to heart when designing the collection – even when it comes to the shoes.
Case in point: the LV Agent boot, which features a square toe and thick leather sole, comes in black or brown glazed leather and is imprinted with the outline of luggage tags, echoing the French luxury brand’s Silhouette bags.
This detailing also appears as on a Chelsea boot in black or brown glazed leather or tonal black in a patchwork of exotic skin. With similar features, the LV Diplomat appears in a smaller dimension across lace-ups, Mary-Janes and bow-adorned slippers.
The travel theme continues with the LV Footprint Traveller – crafted in classic monogram or black leather and black or brown crocodile – the shoe is infused with the comfort-driven spirit of the globetrotter.
Next up, Cowboy boots are back this season, after Williams’s Western-themed fall/winter 2024 collection in January. This time, though, the LV Rider cowboy boot evolves in a patchwork of exotic skins in black, brown or tan. The popular Western style is also available in Monogram leather or suede, as well as python.
Plus, the Snow Boot is adapted in Damoflage printed on crocodile.
And given that Vuitton’s home city of Paris is just one month away from hosting the Olympic Games, Williams took some time to create some sport-inspired shoes this season as well.
A standout here would be the LV Footprint Soccer sneaker, which is inspired by authentic football boots with cleat soles. Plus, the high-top LV Footprint Runner draws a little reference from motorcycle boots and manifests in mixed leathers in green, red or black for a sporty look. What’s more the LV Bowling shoe is an elegant silhouette constructed in nappa leather with a rubber sole – rendered in the skin nuances of the collection.
“This is the eve of the Olympics and so we wanted to tell a story about beautiful people and untapped potential, and that’s pretty much what you see with the line,” Williams told FN sister publication WWD in a preview at Vuitton headquarters. “This is just our homage to mankind, and how we can be kind when we come together.”
Parent company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton is a premium partner of the sporting event, and LVMH is sponsoring a number of French athletes that have also been signed as Vuitton brand ambassadors, including swimmer Léon Marchand and fencer Enzo Lefort.
“I’m excited that so many people are going to be paying attention to the Olympics and we just want to take advantage of the platform to just show gratitude,” Williams added.
