Prince William poses for selfie with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for 42nd birthday

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce posed for a selfie with Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte on the first night of the music mogul’s Eras Tour stop in London.

William – who celebrated his 42nd birthday on Friday — grinned in between Swift, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end while keeping a hand on both George, 10, and Charlotte, 9.

“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” Swift captioned the Instagram post.

Prince William was also spotted grooving to Swift’s hit “Shake It Off” during the sold-out show at Wembley Stadium, which was also attended by Kelce, his brother Jason, and sister-in-law Kylie.

The future king is known for his musical moves: he famously did a karaoke rendition of Jon Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on Prayer” at a 2013 Kensington Palace fundraiser.

“When I sat down to watch Jon Bon Jovi do his performance, I thought, ‘That’s it. My job is done. I’ll get a dinner in a minute, and I might be able to have a chat to some people, and, you know, I’m off-duty a little bit now,’” William recalled during a podcast interview in 2021.

“Little did I think what was going to happen next. I’m sat next to Taylor Swift. She’s on my left. And after Jon does his first song, there’s a pause and she turns to me. She puts her hand on my arm, looks me in the eye, and says, ‘Come on, William. Let’s go and sing,’” he continued.

“Honestly, even now, I’m cringing at what happened next, and I don’t understand why I gave in. But, frankly, if Taylor Swift looks you in the eye, touches your arm, and says, ‘Come with me …’ I got up like a puppy and went, ‘Yeah, okay, that seems like a great idea. I’ll follow you,’” he gushed.

Missing from the Friday night photo-op was Prince Louis, 6, and Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, who is currently being treated for cancer.

The whole Wales family recently appeared at the Trooping the Color to mark King Charles III’s traditional birthday celebration – which was also Kate’s first official public appearance since Christmas Day 2023
