The show will then close out the season with a two-hour finale on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 9/8c.

Across its first eight episodes, Quantum Leap Season 2 is averaging 3.9 million total viewers (with Live+7 playback), which is right on par with its freshman audience. In the demo, Season 2 is averaging a 0.5 rating, ranking third (behind freshman hits The Irrational and Found) amongst all dramas NBC has aired so far this TV season.

There will be plenty to delve into when the Quantum Leap team jumps back into the action. The midseason finale, which aired on Dec. 13., saw Ben reunite with Hannah (guest star Eliza Taylor) in 1961 — six years after their previous encounter at Princeton University. They declared their love for each other, and Ben promised to find her first so she would no longer have to approach complete strangers wondering if it’s him.

Meanwhile, Tom (Peter Gadiot) returned from an abrupt trip to Washington D.C. with game-changing news. While Addison braced herself for a marriage proposal, he whipped out a giant file which he said contained “a way to bring Ben home.” (Read our full recap here.)
