Queen Elizabeth's Grandson Peter Phillips Kisses Girlfriend as They Join Royal Family at Royal Ascot

Peter Phillips brought someone special to Royal Ascot.

Queen Elizabeth's eldest grandchild attended the horse racing event with his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling, on June 21. The couple didn't shy away from some public displays of affection, holding hands and even sharing a kiss between mingling with fellow guests at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

The pair are no strangers to P.D.A. They were also seen kissing during the Gloucestershire Festival of Polo at Beaufort Polo Club on June 8.

Peter, 46, started dating Harriet, a pediatric nurse, after his three-year romance with Lindsay Wallace, who joined the royal family on occasions such as King Charles' Coronation Concert in May 2023 and Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.

Peter split from his ex-wife Autumn (née Kelly) after 13 years of marriage. Peter and Autumn — who share two daughters, Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12 — announced their separation in February 2020 and finalized their divorce in June 2021.

While Peter took part in the Royal Procession that kicks off each race day on June 18, he didn't join in the grand entrance for his second appearance of the year at Royal Ascot. Instead, he and Harriet were spotted chatting with members of the royal family once they arrived in the Royal Enclosure and headed up to the Royal Box to watch the races.

Peter and Harriet were photographed with his uncle King Charles and Queen Camilla in the Royal Box. Harriet was previously introduced to the Queen, 76, at the Badminton Horse Trials in May, according to The Telegraph.

Other royal members in attendance for day four of Royal Ascot included Peter's cousin Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple rode in the second horse-drawn carriage of the Royal Procession joined by Lord Frederik Windsor (the son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent) and his wife, actress Sophie Winkleman.

Peter's mom, Princess Anne, and sister, Zara Tindall, were also among the royal attendees at Royal Ascot this year.

Peter, who is not a working member of the royal family and runs a sports management company, previously discussed how he is inspired by his parents' work ethic and how his mother appreciates family time.

"Both our parents have been hugely influential to Zara and myself, and I think primarily it's through their work ethic," he told on Sky News Australia's The Royal Report, referring to Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, his father who was divorced from Queen Elizabeth's daughter in 1992.

"Both of them are incredibly hardworking and, both in their 70s, they're still working a lot harder than either of them probably expected. But then as my mother always said, from that perspective, they had pretty good role models from my grandparents who were still working in their 90s. Everyone has a huge amount to live up to, and ultimately they all live by example," he continued.

Peter added of his mother, "She really values her home time. values her time with [her husband Sir Timothy Laurence] and the family and the dogs and the horses, and that's a really important part of the structure of her week, to be able to actually relax and get to some form of normality."
