RedHook & Alpha Wolf Join Forces For Possibly The Horniest Metal Song Of 2024, ‘Cannibal’
Two of Australia’s biggest rising heavy acts, Sydney’s RedHook and Melbourne’s Alpha Wolf, have teamed up with one clear mission: “make heavy music horny again”.
They’ve just unleashed a scintillating slice of baddiecore dubbed ‘Cannibal’. Conceptualised as “Nine Inch Nails meets WAP”, ‘Cannibal’ is in its simplest form, a kinky, heavy-grooving ode to the joys of oral sex.

According to RedHook frontwoman Emmy Mack, both bands were united by a collective vision to celebrate more sexual liberation in heavy music.
“Consensual sex is one of the most awesome things in the world!” she explains in a press statement. “And we’re beyond grateful to the legends in Alpha Wolf for backing this vision, for helping us inject more sexual liberation into the world of heavy music, and above all, for conspiring with us to create a horny metal song about oral sex that people can fuck to.”
The collab comes packing a sexually-charged music video, captained by frequent collaborator Colin Jeffs of Ten Of Swords Media, which you can watch above. Apparently the clip ran into some mysterious and unexpected “censorship restrictions” in the post-production phase, so fans are stuck with an “ultra-censored” version.
“That was very confusing and disappointing news,” Emmy adds. “But we figured, hey, if we’re going to be this heavily censored, we might as well lean into it. We set out to inject a bit more sexual liberation into heavy music, so hopefully, the censored version is still sufficiently horny for you.”
