One of the top talents of TNA Wrestling was reportedly backstage at Thursday’s AEW Collision tapings in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Speedball Mike Bailey was backstage at Thursday’s AEW Collision tapings. Bailey was there to visit friends and was welcomed backstage, as he has many connections within the company.

Bailey is currently under contract with TNA Wrestling until the end of the year, so it doesn’t appear he was there for anything beyond that. Despite that, multiple companies will likely be interested in his services once his contract officially expires.

Last month, AEW EVP Kenny Omega had high praise for Speedball on his Twitch stream and noted he thinks the TNA Wrestling star could do great things in the company.

“Yeah, Speedball could have done some great things in AEW. I mean, he still might; who knows? But I like him, I really do,” Kenny Omega said. “I don’t really know him as a person, but as a performer, he’s great. I wrestled him once at PWG, loved that match too, and he’s probably even better now.”
