Rihanna Continues to Celebrate Her Birthday Week by Cheering on LeBron James at the Staples Center
No one knows how to throw a birthday week quite like Rihanna.
The singer, who celebrated her 31st birthday on Wednesday, was seen at a Los Angeles Lakers game in the Staples Center on Thursday. Also pictured with her at the game was Hassan Jameel, her rumored boyfriend and Saudi businessman, who is rarely photographed with her in public.
The pop star wore a LeBron James Lakers jersey paired with jeans and white stiletto boots.
Back in June 2017, the Ocean’s 8 star and Jameel were spotted kissing and grabbing coffee together. Since then, the two have been photographed together a handful of times — including in October 2017, when a source told PEOPLE they were “canoodling all night” while grabbing dinner and bowling with a group of friends in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Rihanna also shared an Instagram video from the game, where she can be seen cheering and yelling “LEBROONN!!”
The Lakers, who were playing the Houston Rockets, came back to win Thursday’s game 111-106.
Also on Thursday, the pop star shared a photo of herself posing with a unicorn piñata and showing off a rainbow manicure. Rihanna’s sweatshirt reads, “It’s my birthday and all I got was this oversized hoodie from Vetements.”

On Tuesday night, the night before her birthday, the Daily Mail reported that Rihanna wore a bright green bodycon dress to her birthday celebration at Wally’s, a restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Many fans are hoping that Rihanna’s 31st year will be the year she releases a new album for the first time since January 2016.
On Dec. 21, the pop star responded to a fan on Instagram who commented on her photo and asked when her new music would be released. In response, Rihanna kept it simple and wrote, “2019.”
