SBS K-Drama Good Partner Reveals Release Date & Cast Featuring Jang Na-Ra, Nam Ji-Hyun & More

SBS announced its upcoming K-drama Good Partner to be led by Jang Na-Ra and Nam Ji-Hyun. The series is all set to air on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on the network. It follows the journey of two female lawyers, who are at different stages in their lives and form a rather unusual relationship with each other. Recently, the network released photos of the two ladies during a script reading session with the rest of the cast members.

Good Partner will be written by divorce specialist lawyer Choi Yu-Na. Director Kim Ga-Ram, popularly known for Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency and Nevertheless, will helm the upcoming SBS series. Other cast members include Block B member P.O, Kim Jun-Han, Han Jae-Yi, and Ji Seung-Hyun. This legal K-drama has definitely raised viewers’ expectations.

Good Partner is an upcoming SBS K-drama that follows the story of top divorce lawyer Cha Eun-Kyung (Jang Nara), who has 17 years of experience. While she is known for getting straight to the point, the lawyer soon faces challenges in her personal life. At this turbulent time in her life, she crosses paths with rookie lawyer Han Yu-Ri (Nam Ji-Hyun), who is her complete opposite. Yu-Ri is new to the field and keeps clashing with Eun-Kyung.

The two mostly face challenges due to differences in their personalities. While Eun-Kyung places the company’s interests and growth first, Yu-Ri prioritizes getting her clients the justice they deserve. As the latter cannot tolerate injustice, she clashes with the veteran lawyer. Gradually, the two women become each other’s sources of strength and growth.

Meanwhile, Kim Jun-Han plays the law firm Daejeong’s Divorce Team 2’s team leader, Jung Woo-Jin. He is Eun-Kyung’s junior and has been supporting her for a long time. Block B member P.O portrays the role of lawyer Jeon Eun Ho. His positive attitude shines through as he mentors Yu-Ri and is in charge of hiring recruits.

Furthermore, Ji Seung-Hyun plays Kim Ji-Sang, Eun-Kyung’s husband and Daejeong Law Firm’s medical advisor. He is committed to Eun-Kyung and ensures that his family lives happily. Lastly, Han Jae-Yi plays Choi Sa-Ra, who has been Eun-Kyung’s secretary for the past decade.
