After a fractured, frustrating Season 11, Vanderpump Rules cameras didn’t pick back up this summer as they’ve historically done. The show’s currently on pause for an unknown amount of time.

That means that Scheana Shay is enjoying her first real summer break in a long time. However, Pump Rules still seems to be on her mind – she recently predicted what the future may hold.

Scheana has a hunch about when VPR filming might resume

E! News caught up with Scheana and her husband Brock Davies on June 15 at the Critics Choice Real TV Awards in L.A.

Scheana shared her thoughts about the VPR summer hiatus. “It feels good. I think it was needed. We get to enjoy some time with our family.”

She added, “Our daughter [Summer Moon, 3] is about to start preschool, so having some time off is definitely needed.”

Brock’s also excited for Scheana to finally have a long break. “I think having the summer off, for Scheana, that’s something she hasn’t done in 13 years. So that’s fun in itself. We get to explore.”

All good things must come to an end (some might argue that the good days of VPR already have). And, so eventually must Scheana’s break. She has a prediction for when production might pick back up.

Scheana hypothesized as Scheana does. “I think they’ll probably do The Valley (VPR’s surprisingly intriguing spinoff) first. And then Vanderpump after. That’s my prediction.” Season 1 of The Valley was filmed last summer, so filming for Season 2 might take place this summer.

Sources say that Pump Rules will return for another season. However, which cast members will be back – if any – is still up in the air.

Rumors swirled that both Scheana and her current best friend, Lala Kent, might transition to The Valley. S11 saw them fall out of favor with Ariana Madix (and many viewers) after they kind of made their way to Tom Sandoval’s corner.

The Valley figurehead/ex-Pumper, Jax Taylor, doesn’t want Scheana to make her way to his show. And, exec producer Alex Baskin says The Valley is full. So, who knows where and when we might see her on our screens next. So far, Dancing with the Stars hasn’t come calling.

Vanderpump Rules streams on Peacock.
