I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for 'Two Scoops of Italy'!

Hallmarkies, we've made our way across Europe in Hallmark Channel's Passport to Love series of movies. Or should we say, "eaten our way" since it seems like all the movies revolved around food. Love & Honey featured, well, honey as it's third character, Savoring Paris had us craving a glass of Bordeaux and Comte cheese while A Greek Recipe for Romance made us want to pour olive oil over pretty much everything. In Two Scoops of Italy, the final installment in the series, we head to Italy where gelato reigns supreme. It's summer and we scream for ice cream, or gelato in this case.

What is Two Scoops of Italy about?

Chef Danielle Turner (Hunter King) is facing a dilemma of gastronomic proportions and might lose her restaurant unless she can come up with a new menu that will wow her investor. Desperate for epicurean inspiration she travels to Ostia Antica, an ancient Roman village. Danielle soon meets Giancarlo Donati (Michele Rosiello), a charming local gelatiere facing his own crisis of the gelato variety. Giancarlo introduces Danielle to the flavors, the culture, the gelato and other charms of the quaint town and together they motivate and encourage one another. As Danielle falls for Italy, she discovers it might not be the only thing to capture her heart.
