Sebastian Maniscalco Reveals the One Thing You'll Never Find in His Fridge

SEBESTAIN MANISCALCO IS not shy about cracking a joke. It's no wonder, then, that when he was featured on Men's Health's most recent "Gym & Fridge" episode, it was one of the funniest yet. Best known for his physical comedy, as seen in his Netflix special, Is It Me?, The comedian took us behind the scenes to see his gym and fridge, revealing what keeps him in top shape to crack jokes daily.

Behind Maniscalco’s black and white striped fridge, he reveals some “deliciousness,” as he describes to MH. The fridge itself is meticulously organized, filled with every imaginable fruit, vegetable, meat, cheese, pasta, etc. Not only is it visually appealing, but it showcases the variety of foods and flavors he incorporates into his meals. Despite the variety, Maniscalco still jokes that the container of bell peppers is “strictly for color” and quips, “we bought it for the look.”

The comedian claims his staple ingredient is eggs, and that a typical breakfast for him consists of three or four eggs, smoked salmon, and some avocado. The star explains that when he's on tour, he likes to eat healthier and prioritize protein as a way to sustain the energy and physicality required for his sets. He then reveals one thing you'll never find in his fridge:

“Every Friday growing up, my mother would make liver with onions, and it was awful.”

Needless to say, the Bookie star's source of protein will not be coming from that particular childhood staple.

Maniscalco then took MH to his gym, where he proudly showed off his latest addition: pickleball courts. He jokes that because he's now 50, “it just felt necessary.”

Inside his gym, Maniscalco demonstrates the daily stretching he does with his trainer, and is asked how his fitness routine has changed with age.

“When I was in my 20s, 30s, and early 40s, it was primarily aesthetics," he says. "It used to be a lot about weight training. There's no more plates—now it's more about nutrition, and being flexible. I don’t really care if I have the biggest chest, biceps, legs. That's not the intention here. The intention now is about mobility.”

Despite aging, Maniscalco continues to prioritize healthy practices, starting at home. With the Season 2 of his popular HBO show Bookie on the way, it’s clear that he’s emphasizing mobility so he can continue bringing viewers plenty of laughter to home screens.
