Scheana Shay gave a sweet shoutout to Carl Radke as he celebrated a major milestone.

On Sunday, January 7, the Vanderpump Rules cast member took to Instagram to share a message of support for the Summer House OG. Scheana posted a collage of throwback pictures that highlighted memorable moments from their years-long friendship, including their joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

“Happy 3 years of sobriety [Carl Radke]!” the former SURver captioned Instagram Story. “I’m so proud of you. You are an incredible human and deserve the world.”

Carl has been quite open about the ups and downs of his sobriety journey, which has been explored throughout the past few seasons of Summer House. Although he made several attempts to moderate his alcohol consumption, Carl said he found it especially difficult following the loss of his older brother, Curtis Radke, who died in 2020 after a long battle with substance abuse.

“The way I dealt with the grief and the pain was to continue to drink and party,” Radke told Insider last spring, explaining why he ultimately chose to go sober. “I hit my rock bottom in early January of 2021. And it was just time. I just didn’t want to live like that anymore.”

Keep up the good work brother! I can’t wait to hit the road with you like the good ol’ days, this time with non-alcs in hand.”
