Selena Gomez Reveals What She “Really” Told Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller in Viral Golden Globes Moment

Selena Gomez is setting the record straight.

The Only Murders in the Building star was seen seemingly spilling some tea to pals Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller at the Golden Globes on Sunday — and after the moment went viral, speculation ran rampant that she was gossiping about Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.

On Tuesday, Gomez, 31, squashed the rumors, and revealed just what she was telling Swift and Teller in a comment left on an E! News Instagram post.

“Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone business,” Gomez commented on the post.

A source previously confirmed to PEOPLE that Gomez “was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie.”

Though rumors spread on social media that Gomez had asked to take a photo with Chalamet, 28, and was rebuffed by his girlfriend Jenner, 26, the source added that the “Calm Down” singer “never even saw or spoke to” the couple.

Gomez — who was up for best performance by a female actor in a television musical or comedy for her role in Only Murders — was all smiles throughout the night, mingling with costars and friends before reuniting with her boyfriend Benny Blanco at the end of the night.

The star later shared an Instagram Story of her kissing Blanco with the caption, “I won.”

"Everyone is so happy that she's happy," an insider previously told PEOPLE, adding that Gomez's loved ones are "protective" of her.

"He is my absolute everything in my heart," Gomez wrote on a fan page in early December after a picture of them together was shared.

She added to another fan comment that Blanco was "the best thing that's ever happened to me. The end."
