Selena Gomez Says Friendship With Taylor Swift Was the 'Best Thing' to Come of Relationship With Nick Jonas
Selena Gomez's relationship with Nick Jonas didn't last -- but her friendship with Taylor Swift did!
During a recent interview with KIIS FM UK, the "Wolves" singer opened up about meeting Swift for the first time while she was dating Nick and Swift was dating his older brother, Joe.
"It was hysterical," said Gomez, who dated Nick from 2008 to 2010, of the unlikely way she met Swift, who started dating Joe in July 2008, before he famously ended it over text message three months later.
"It was amazing, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked," Gomez recalled. "It was the best thing we got out of those relationships."
Swift, of course, also got a few songs out of her short relationship with Joe, including "Forever & Always." But now, Gomez says they all couldn't be on better terms.
"They're lovely, by the way," she said of Nick and Joe. "We're all friends now. We were young, you know; it's a different time."
