Show time! Byng band dazzles Tuesday crowd

Dec. 14—The Byng High School marching band, color guard, drum line, and pom squad presented the Byng Pirate Band Blast from the Past Court Show Tuesday night at the school's Bill Koller Field House.
The band is under the direction of Dr. Laura Smith and assisted by Christopher Bragg. Drum Major is Makenzie Stephens. Color guard choreographer is Byng Alum Allison Huddleston, and the drum line is under the instruction of Jacob Williams.
The 2023-24 school year also welcomes the brand new Byng Pom Team under the direction of Alayna Benedict.
The show featured a medley of 16 songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
