The Tragic Circumstances Surrounding Janelle Brown's Son's Death

In a devastating revelation last month, The Blast reported that the autopsy report of Janelle's late son shed light on the circumstances leading to his untimely passing.

The Coconino County Medical Examiner's findings confirmed the heartbreaking truth: Garrison succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head, ruling his death as suicide.

However, amidst this confirmation, another contributing factor emerged. According to the postmortem analysis, ethanol intoxication, commonly known as alcohol poisoning, played a significant role in the 25-year-old's demise.

The report detailed alarming levels of alcohol in his bloodstream, measured at a staggering .307% based on his iliac blood analysis and an even higher .370% based on his vitreous analysis.

In addition to alcohol, traces of caffeine were also detected in Garrison's system at the time of his death.

Garrison's Roommates Spoke Out On His Struggles

In the aftermath of Garrison's tragic death, his roommates shed light on the dark struggles he faced behind closed doors.

Before the autopsy report's release, Addison, one of the late photographer's roommates, recounted learning about his friend's death over the phone.

According to Addison, Garrison grappled with "alcoholism and depression." A claim that another friend also backed.

His struggles were no secret to those closest to him, including Cheyenne, another roommate who received the devastating news over the phone.

Cheyenne, overcome with sorrow, lamented her inability to intervene despite being aware of his ongoing struggles.

She revealed that Garrison had confided in her about his battles with alcohol, yet the gravity of his situation did not fully register until it was too late.

Cheyenne tearfully recalled hearing a pop sound in the moments preceding Garrison's death. "I'm sorry I didn't check on him last night," she cried.

Janelle Brown Penned Touching Tribute On Late Son's Posthumous Birthday

In April, The Blast noted that Janelle shared a heartfelt reel capturing cherished memories of Garrison on what would have been his birthday.

The emotional compilation featured Garrison beaming in front of birthday cakes to playful poses with Star Wars Lego sets before ending with an old picture of a younger mother-son duo.

Accompanying the video, Janelle penned a heartfelt message: "Happy Birthday Sweetheart. We are missing you terribly today. It's hard to believe you aren't here anymore. We talked about you a lot today and even went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner (your favorite place)."

Amidst the ache of her loss, Janelle mentioned finding solace in the belief that Garrison's presence lingers. "I still feel you nearby sometimes. And I'm grateful we will see each other again when my journey is completed," she shared.

In a heartwarming move, fans collaborated by donating to animal shelters Garrison held dear.

Expressing her gratitude, Janelle took to Instagram to share the moving gesture, with two photos of Garrison and his beloved felines alongside the names of the benefitting shelters — High Country Humane and Ark Cat Sanctuary.

Janelle's caption conveyed her appreciation for fans' generosity, writing, "I have been brought to tears again. I'm being told about everyone's donations to @highcountryhumane @arkcatsancutary in Garrison's name."

Reflecting on Garrison's love for his pets, Janelle shared, "Thank you for all your generosity. It means so much. The cats he adopted from both agencies were so important to him. He loved being a cat dad."
