"They miss Stephen daily," says the source of Holker and their kids
Allison Holker Boss and her children are doing their best to move forward nearly one year after Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ death.
Earlier in October, the professional dancer put the family home she shared with her late husband, who died in December, on the market for $3.795 million.
“Allison and their kids are coping as well as expected, but they miss Stephen daily. They are doing their best to move forward and try to heal,” a source tells PEOPLE.

The couple, who were married for nine years, moved into the Encino property in 2019 with their three children: daughters Weslie, 15, and Zaia, 3, and son Maddox, 7.
In 2021, they shared their redesign of the six-bedroom, six-bathroom home after partnering with Pottery Barn. Fans of the dancers will recognize the space from the many dance videos they filmed inside their home.
After the refresh, Allison shared with PEOPLE that she and her husband “really wanted the home to feel like a sanctuary for us where we could breathe together and just create memories in this really warm space.”
In May, Allison opened up to PEOPLE about the memories she shared with Stephen and their kids at their home together.
The Dancing with the Stars alum recalled moments at the dining table where, "We'd have so many random conversations, and there was so much laughter." She continued, "Our love was so real and so loud. We always told people our house was like a choreographed dance."
Allison and Stephen celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary days before the former Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ died at age 40. Despite meeting at a party in 2006, the pair’s love story didn’t begin until they connected on season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2010. They later tied the knot in December 2013.
In September, Allison shared a touching tribute on what would have been her husband’s 41st birthday.
"We honor our beautiful, sweet, kind and loving Stephen tWitch Laurel Boss. Forever on our hearts and minds carrying us, guiding us and lifting us," she wrote alongside photos of her and Stephen's children visiting his gravesite.
