Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits are back on the same page, and they are set to face Rey Mysterio and the LWO at WWE Fastlane.

On the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, the Street Profits (Montez Ford and faced Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar. Bobby Lashley interfered and tried to help the duo score the win. But they hesitated to capitalize, so Mysterio and Escobar still emerged victorious. Later in the show, Lashley told Ford and Dawkins to step up, or he would find someone else.

Lashley provided a brief update on the September 29 episode of SmackDown. During an appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect, Lashley stated that he made a mistake with The Street Profits, so it was back to the drawing board. They came out and tried to talk to him, but Lashley told the duo that they had to prove themselves if they wanted something from him.

Later in the show, the Street Profits attacked WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar after their match. Lashley walked to ringside and applauded. He then embraced Ford and Dawkins, and it was clear that they won his approval. In a backstage interview, Rey Mysterio subsequently challenged Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits to face him and LWO at WWE Fastlane.

As of this writing, WWE has yet to confirm the match.
