Summer Bash bringing Bret Michaels, Jefferson Starship to Gibson City

GIBSON CITY, Ill. (WCIA) — Gibson City’s Summer Bash is heading to their downtown this summer, and will feature some iconic rock musicians.

The fourth annual Summer Bash will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 7 p.m., and is hosted by Gibson Area Hospital and Health Services. The event will be a “Parti-gras” festival with musical performances from rock artists Bret Michaels and Jefferson Starship.

Bret Michaels has sold over 100 million digital records and streams worldwide. His 30-year career has brought well-known songs like “Every Rose Has Its Thorn, “Talk Dirty to Me,” “All I Ever Needed,” and “Something to Believe In.”

Walker Hayes to perform concert at Decatur amphitheater this summer

70s rock band Jefferson Starship will kick off the concert with hits like “We Built This City,” “Nothing is Going to Stop Us Now,” and more.

General admission is free, though spots closest to the stage must be purchased. These Party Pit tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. this Friday.
