Oscar-nominated actor, producer and author Taraji P. Henson is set to return as the host of this year’s BET Awards. It will air live on June 30 on BET at 8 p.m. ET and will be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

“I am thrilled to be returning as the host of the ‘BET Awards’ for the third time. I am also looking forward to celebrating my peers and the impact of our culture on entertainment,” Henson said in a statement.

Usher will be honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement BET Award, and set performers include GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey and Victoria Monét.

“Taraji is a phenom, known for her vibrant personality and charisma, and we are excited to welcome her back to host Culture’s Biggest Night, ‘BET Awards,’ the ultimate celebration of Black creativity,” said Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET. “We are equally as thrilled to have so many incredibly talented performers join us, standing on culture’s biggest stage to deliver an unforgettable night.”

Netflix has released the trailer for “Owning Manhattan,” which will be available to stream on June 28.

“Owning Manhattan” is the first Netflix real estate show focused on New York. The show follows  Ryan Serhant, who was the former star of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York,” running his own brokerage and showcases premiere New York properties like the Penthouse at Central Park Tower.

According to an official logline, the reality series “gives a look inside the glamorous, adrenaline-filled universe of high-stakes real estate in New York City. World famous broker and CEO Ryan Serhant will stop at nothing as he builds his brokerage and goes after the most exclusive luxury listings in the city. And he’s not alone: he’s leading an ambitious army of agents on a mission to become the #1 brokerage in the world.”

“Owning Manhattan” is executive produced by Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, Bianca Barnes-Williams and Kelly Montalvo. Serhant also serves as a producer.

National Geographic and Hulu released a trailer for “Cult Massacre: One Day in Jonestown,” which is set to release on June 17 on Hulu and will also air on Nat Geo on Aug. 14.

Per the show’s synopsis, it tells the story of an “idealistic religious organization led by the infamous Jim Jones, who set out to establish a utopian community in Guyana. What began as a peaceful movement seeking social justice ultimately spiraled into a mass casualty that left 918 dead. Told by survivors and eyewitnesses, along with rare footage and rare recordings of Jones, the powerful series takes an immersive look into the final harrowing hours leading up to one of America’s darkest chapters.”

“Cult Massacre: One Day in Jonestown” will feature first-person accounts from former Peoples Temple, Congress, U.S. service members and more.

The three-part series is produced by 72 Films for National Geographic. Its executive producers include David Glover, Mark Raphael, Carolyn Payne are executive producers. Marian Mohamed serves as the director.
