Team USA's Paris Olympics Uniforms Are Here and Dangerously Cool, According to One Athlete — See the Looks

Ralph Lauren unveiled the opening and closing ceremony uniforms for Team USA on June 18

The Summer Olympics are nearly here, and, as always, Team USA will be dressed to impress.

For the sixteenth year in a row, Ralph Lauren has designed the special uniforms that U.S. athletes will wear during the Olympics and Paralympics opening and closing ceremonies. The brand unveiled the parade of nations looks on June 18 during Today, teasing what's to come in Paris.

For the opening ceremony on July 26, athletes will wear a classic, single-breasted navy blue wool blazer, which features subtle Americana details like red and white tipping. The jacket is paired with a striped oxford shirt, as well as tapered denim and suede buck shoes. Male athletes will also wear a blue tie.

The closing ceremony look is more relaxed, though again centers around a standout jacket. This time, it's a racing jacket worn with white jeans and a classic Polo shirt. The sporty moto jackets include an array of patches, from an American flag to Team USA emblems and one denoting the athlete's sport. The arms include a large "24" to denote the year.

Ralph Lauren emphasized sustainability for the parade uniforms, which are made from recycled polyester and U.S.A.-grown Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified wool.

Daniela Moroz, 23, is heading to her first games as kiteboarding makes its Olympics debut — and tells PEOPLE it's been "super exciting" to be a Ralph Lauren athlete.

"It's been really cool to be the first to see everything and try it on and share it with the world," she says, noting that she first was fitted for the athlete's collection back in February. "I love the closing ceremony outfit," Moroz says. "I mean I'm racing on the water so it's very fitting to have a racer jacket."

The closing ceremony ensemble is clearly a fan-favorite — Paralympian Jamal Hill, too, tells PEOPLE he's most drawn to those pieces.

"I'm the biggest fan of the closing ceremony outfit," Hill, 29, says ahead of the Team USA swim trials in a few weeks. "The sporty racing-style coat, the white denim, the white-on-white, very summer-y, very kinda risqué even, dangerous. White pants are always dangerous — none of us have good stories in white pants, only great stories."

The athlete's are also supplied with Olympic and Paralympic Village looks — including Ralph Lauren's first-ever 100% recycled cotton polo shirt and the brand's classic American flag sweater.
