Canada’s popular pair of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir had a hit on their hands with a routine which opened with The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil” and segued into an acoustic version of Eagles’ “Hotel California” and Santana’s “Oye Como Va.”

Competitors were encouraged to incorporate a Latin rhythm into their short routines, and many did just that, as skaters hit “Despacito” on three occasions.
Perhaps the French team of Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron didn’t get the memo, as they came out to a soundtrack of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and “Thinking Out Loud.”
