Tom Schwartz Supports Ex Katie Maloney’s New Sandwich Shop and Poses with Her Mom Teri

'Vanderpump Rules' stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney opened their long-awaited sandwich shop, Something About Her, on May 22

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s romance may be over but the pair still support one another.

Maloney and her Vanderpump Rules costar Ariana Madix finally opened their sandwich shop, Something About Her, after a series of delays. They officially celebrated the opening on May 22 — and Schwartz showed up not long after.

The TomTom co-owner, who was married to Maloney from 2016 through 2022, stopped by the Los Angeles spot on Sunday, May 26, according to Maloney' mother Teri's Instagram Story.

In the photo, Schwartz has his arm around his former mother-in-law and they are smiling from ear-to-ear. Teri one-upped Schwartz by wearing a Something About Her T-shirt.

Bravo stars Andy Cohen, Stassi Schroeder, and Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard have also showed their love for the Nancy Meyers-inspired lunch spot. They visited the sandwich store for a preview before the grand opening.

Something About Her's opening on May 22 was a long time coming. Permitting issues and other logistics caused delays since Madix and Maloney first announced plans to open the shop in 2022.

Despite it all, the women told PEOPLE that they never lost faith in each other.

“We both believed that it would always happen, that we were going to make it happen,” said Madix. “But there was definitely some moments of deep breathing at times when something else would pop up, and you just have to take a second.”

The final product is a feminine, rom com movie-inspired shop and menu. The sandwiches (ranging in price from $14-$18) are named after leading ladies like Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz.

When asked how they assigned each a menu item, Madix said, “I feel like we were tasting things and we were just like, 'This feels right for this.'" Maloney echoed: “'Yeah, this tastes like a Drew, or this definitely tastes like a Reese.'”
