Torchy's Tacos opens first Cincinnati location, offers first 100 customers free queso for a year
This beloved Austin, Texas, taco joint is finally making its way up the Queen City.
Torchy's Tacos, known for their "Damn Good Tacos" and addictive Green Chile Queso, will be opening its first location in Greater Cincinnati later this month.
The opening, scheduled for Feb. 21 at 10 a.m., marks the restaurant's fourth Ohio location – there are three Torchy's Tacos in the Columbus area. The Cincinnati location will open at 7673 Blake St. in Liberty Township.
The first 100 guests in line at the eatery's opening will receive a free Torchy’s Tacos T-shirt and a year of free Green Chile Queso and Chips each time they wear the shirt to the Liberty Township location.
Founded in a food trailer in Austin in 2006, Torchy’s Tacos elevates the traditional taco with unique flavor combinations like the Trailer Park taco with fried chicken, the Fried Avocado taco and the Baja Shrimp taco. Their menu also features breakfast tacos, their grande burrito and an extensive drinks menu with frozen sangria and margaritas.
