Soon, she resolves to escape from it with her daughter. Ruthless premiered on March 19, 2020, with Season 4 debuting on April 20, 2023. Tyler Perry’s Ruthless Season 5 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.
As of February 2024, Ruthless hasn’t been greenlit for Season 5. Given that most BET Plus projects are renewed not long before the release of the concerning season and if the fifth season does happen, we can likely expect it to follow this pattern. Like several other BET and BET Plus projects by Tyler Perry, including The Oval, seasons of Ruthless are split into two parts. Previously, these parts have come out in the same calendar year, with one releasing in spring and the other in winter.
However, this wasn’t the case with Season 4 Part 2, which premiered on February 1, 2024. This was likely due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes. If the release pattern of the previous season is still followed, Season 5 Part 1 can debut in June 2024. We will likely know more on the subject when the fourth season concludes.
