The conservative former Trump White House associate doubled down on her prior comment about dating a woman if she ever divorced her husband.

The political divide is not the only spectrum The View star and former Donald Trump White House associate Alyssa Farah Griffin scales.

During a discussion about bisexuality with producer Brian Teta on Tuesday's episode of the Behind the Table podcast, the 34-year-old Republican cohost doubled down on her prior statement about wanting to date a woman if she ever left her husband, Justin, before playfully commenting on social media speculation about her own sexuality.

"I did say, if, for any reason, my husband and I didn’t work out, I think I would date a woman, and I stand by that," Griffin said on the episode, referencing a comment she made last week during a Behind the Table chat about Real Housewives star Kyle Richards' alleged connection to another woman in the wake of her separation from Mauricio Umansky.

Teta then brought up a fan's tweet reacting to Griffin's initial quote.

"The tweet I found said that, ‘Low key, Alyssa came out as bi,'" he said, and Griffin laughed.

"You know what… I do… listen, it’s a spectrum. We’re all on a spectrum," Griffin clarified through several pauses, before finishing with a final thought. "I feel like, in some senses, women would be easier to date, but, no, marriage for life to my husband."

EW has reached out to a representative for The View for comment.

Though she previously worked for Trump's White House until she resigned in December 2020, Griffin has spoken in support of LGBTQIA+ rights during her time on The View, amid regular criticism of and warnings about her former boss' bid for a second presidential term.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
