Fans of Zach Bryan will get to celebrate “The Great American Bar Scene” — and one Kentucky bar has been chosen to preview his new album before the official release date.

Bryan’s album, “The Great American Bar Scene,” will release July 4. But 23 bars across the country will get an early release, starting on Monday, June 24, including Larry’s All American Café in Covington.

“My intent with all this is to give everyone an early glimpse of this album, but more importantly this is in the spirit of bringing people together for a memorable moment,” Bryan wrote on Instagram. “I have chosen 23 bars across the country that embody the spirit of American culture. These bars will play select cuts from ‘The Great American Bar Scene’ starting June 24th.”

Bryan was one of the headliners at the 2023 Railbird music festival in Lexington, drawing a huge crowd to the sold-out festival. So far, Bryan has released one single from the upcoming album, “Pink Skies,” and he’s teased several songs on social media.

Larry’s said on Instagram it was planning “a large community celebration” for the album. The bar said it expects to get its copy of the new album by Monday, with more details about an event to come soon. While it’s not yet clear whether Bryan will make an appearance at Larry’s, the singer wrote he “will be visiting a few off the list to have a drink with y’all.” He’s currently on tour, with his next stops in Columbus, Ohio, this weekend.

“When you walk into Larry’s you are welcomed by the warm embrace of the vintage neon lights and our bartenders’ friendly smiles,” the post said. “Everyone is a friend and time stops for a moment to enjoy a beer in a slow old-fashioned way. Maybe this is why Zach Bryan has chosen Larry’s as one of the select few bars across America to drop his new album before it’s release date.”

Larry’s is located at 536 W. 9th St. in Covington.

Bryan shot to stardom in the last several years with his third album, “American Heartbreak” — a triple album featuring 31 songs released in 2022. One of the singles from that album, “Something in the Orange,” reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and he won the Academy of Country Music Award for new male artist of the year in 2023.
