Warner Bros. Discovery claims that CM Punk is not affiliated with AEW Collision.

On May 17, Warner Bros. Discovery announced the premiere of AEW Collison, All Elite Wrestling’s new Saturday show that will premiere on June 17.

As noted by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics (via Jimmy Traina), the headline for WBD’s announcement initially mentioned CM Punk in the cached listing, but it was subsequently edited.

Per Conner Casey of ComicBook, WBD issued a statement in which it wrote, “CM Punk is not affiliated with AEW Collision.”

Punk has been absent from AEW since his reported brawl with The Elite following AEW All Out 2022, as he was suspended and stripped of the AEW World Championship. His planned involvement with AEW Collision was previously reported weeks ago.

Tony Khan tweeted that he would have more information about AEW Collision on June 17. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
