West Palm Beach beer fest invites you to bring a dog or adopt one
Ready to rock Clematis Street once again, BRK Republic's second annual West Palm Beach Beer Festival (which is uncommonly dog-friendly) is back, better than ever.
The event on Aug. 26 will feature beer samples from more than a dozen craft breweries. Taking 2023 to the next level, however, it will also feature handpicked wines, local and national spirits and select non-alcoholic drinks including house-made teas from Lilo's StreetFood & Bar.
The Taco Del Pueblo Food Truck out of Lantana will be on site providing seriously-delicious Mexican dishes including tacos, quesadillas and nachos.
Laying down the sweet beats, DJ Tito Maldonado will keep the mood festive and fun making those samples flow smoothly and those tacos taste just that much better.
As for the event's namesake — the beer, the variety on hand will be staggering.
Beer samples will be provided by 3 Sons Brewing, American Icon Brewery, Artisanal Brewing Ventures, Bell’s Beer, Cigar City, Civil Society, Collective Arts, Connecticut Valley Brewing, Funky Buddha, Hop Life Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing Company, Oyster City, Sailfish Brewing Company, Stormhouse Brewing and more.

Atoll Vodka, Costa Tequila, Munyon Island Spirits Company, and NOXX & DUNN Florida Rum will provide the spirits for tasting, and the wines will be from the LaBelle Winery.
Chido will be providing samples of their tequila-infused beverages and Blake’s Hard Cider, an independent family-owned operation from Michigan, will be providing cider samples.
In business since 1946, Blake's even grows their own apples.

Yes, it's Florida. Yes, it's August. And yes, it will probably be "warmish." Fear not for your furry friends though as BRK Republic will have water available for dogs along with kiddie pools for quick romps and umbrellas for shade.
In addition, there will be complimentary doggie treats.
Love a good festival and a reason to bring that precious pup along, but not so much into alcoholic beverages?
No worries, as there will be an exclusive section providing teetotalers with fine beverages including house-made teas from Lilo's Streetfood & Bar, soft drinks and other yet-to-be named beverages.
The motto "eat, drink and be merry" is definitely a good one. It's even better when you add your furry friends, and gets really, really good when it helps support local nonprofits.
That's right, a portion of the proceeds will help support the Friends of Jupiter Beach and Lake Worth Beach Cares.
FJB is dedicated to cleaning and maintaining environmentally healthy and dog-friendly beaches through education, volunteer work and community support.

Lake Worth Beach Cares is the nonprofit end of BRK's parent company, Lilo’s Streetfood & Bar. They support several organizations, including the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. The charity began during the pandemic as a way to help feed the local Lake Worth Beach community with weekly free meals.
This event is a dog-friendly festival ... but what if you don't have a furry friend? Yikes! You're missing out on probably the purest, most unconditional love in existence.
There is a remedy, however, and if you're at the festival it's right in front of you: Adopt.
The Mutty Paws Rescue group and Life with Reef, through their Operation Homeward Bound program, will be at the event looking to match loving pups with forever homes.
Mutty Paws Rescue will have dogs available for adoption at the event. Anyone interested is encouraged to become pre-approved by submitting an application at muttypawsrescue.org/adoption.
This is a rain or shine event and will be set up in the BRK Republic parking lot.
Attendees do not have to register their dogs with BRK to attend, but all dogs must be kept on leash.
