Sean "Diddy" Combs wiped his entire Instagram page clean, shocking many. More details about the rapper's latest move have now been revealed.

The gestures had raised eyebrows, given that an on-camera video of him apologizing to his ex, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, for assaulting her was among the many posts that were deleted.

It is now being reported that Diddy was not taking a swipe at Cassie, nor was it a PR play. Instead, he just wanted to "reset his post" and that this was not his first time doing something similar.

Diddy recently shocked many on social media by deleting every post from his Instagram page, which has nearly 20 million followers.

Among the posts deleted in this surprising purge was a video in which he appeared to apologize to his ex, Cassie, for assaulting her. However, he carefully avoided mentioning her name.

Diddy made this post after a viral clip showing him brutally kicking, shoving, and dragging Cassie down a hotel hallway from a time when they were still an item.

After the rapper's Instagram wipe became evident on social media, various speculations arose suggesting the move might be connected to Cassie.

However, insiders clarified to TMZ that the act was not intended as a "dig" at his ex, as he deleted not only the apology but all of his other posts as well.

They also noted that Diddy has purged his Instagram page in the past, implying that this recent action shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

Diddy Still Stands By What He Said In His Apology Video

According to the sources, it didn't matter that the apology to Cassie was deleted because it had already been "seen around the world and published/broadcast everywhere," meaning that "it exists forever."

Even with the video gone, Diddy is not having second thoughts about what he said in the clip.

The sources claimed it was only "magnified because of all the attention" the rapper has received in the wake of accusations of sexual assaults from different women and the viral video of him brutalizing Cassie.

The sources further clarified that the act should not be interpreted as a "strategic move between him and his camp" but rather as "a spontaneous thing" with "no significance on the bigger picture" of the current happenings in the music mogul's life.

What The Rapper Said In His Apology Video

In the now-apology video, Diddy talked about hitting rock bottom at the time of his assault on Cassie, noting that he was "f-cked" up at the time.

The rapper said, "It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was f-cked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior [in] that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I'm disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I'm disgusted now."

He continued, "I went, and I sought out professional help. Had to go into therapy. Had to go into rehab. Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I'm committed to [being] a better man each and every day. And I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry."

More Victims Have Brought Sexual Assault Suits Against Diddy

According to Forbes, last month, two more women, former model Crystal McKinney and April Lampros, filed sexual assault suits against Diddy, altogether making it seven ongoing sexual assault lawsuits against the record label executive in less than a year.

In her lawsuit, McKinney claimed that she had met Diddy in 2003 during a Men's Fashion Week event hosted at a restaurant. During their meeting, he reportedly made a sexually suggestive move at her and also informed her that he could help boost her career with his influence.

The documents also revealed that they later met at Diddy's New York recording studio. There, the rapper allegedly offered her laced marijuana, kissed her without her consent, and forced her to perform oral sex on him.

Meanwhile, Lampros claimed in her lawsuit that she had over four terrifying sexual encounters with Diddy between 1995 and 2001. She alleged that she was raped in at least three of these incidents and that in one encounter, Combs forced her to ingest ecstasy.

Federal Grand Jury May Be Conveyed For Possible Indictment Of Diddy

While no federal charges have been brought against the rapper in connection with the sexual assault accusations, reports have revealed that might change soon.

They claimed that most of the alleged victims have been interviewed by investigations and that they may appear before a grand jury to testify against Diddy.

Already, federal agents have videos taken from Combs' residences across the country, which were raided in recent months. Some individuals seen in the videos are being contacted and may testify before the grand jury.

It is also understood that charges have yet to be brought because federal prosecutors want to ensure their case is bulletproof to prevent Diddy's lawyers from finding a way to get him off.
