Who Will Win 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Season 9? Episode 4 Power Rankings

RuPaul's Drag Race Episode 4

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars has returned for Season 9 and eight of our favorite queens from seasons past have re-entered the Werk Room to fight for $200,000. Only this time, instead of taking home the prize themselves, they'll be competing for charity AND no one is going home. This week on Episode 4, the queens were paired up to make over firemen and then perform with their new dolled up drag daughters in a girl group.

In each episode, the queens will compete for Benefactress Badges with the three queens who collect the most badges vying for the crown in the season's finale.

Which brings us to the question: Who will win Season 9 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars?

To that end, I've put together a ranking of the eight queens competing on this season, ordered from least likely to most likely to be inducted into the Drag Race Hall of Fame. It's a power ranking if you will, and while there are supposed spoilers on dark corners of the internet, I haven't read any of them. This ranking is also based on how likely the queen is to WIN the competition, not just go far, and takes into consideration everything that took place in the season's first three episodes.

Here is last week's ranking of Episode 3 if you'd like to see where we stood coming into this week.

8. Shannel

Last Week's Placement: Sixth
Wins: 0
Benefactress Badges: 0
Not Cut Off

We're only four episodes into All Stars 9, but Shannel is quickly falling out of the running for the crown. If the season is only 12 episodes long, aka 11 plus the finale, then Shannel only has seven more shots to snag a Benefactress Badge (although there's the possibility of earning multiple Badges per episode as we saw this week). While Shannel seems good at everything, she's yet to break through and she's going to need some magic to find herself in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

7. Plastique Tiara

Last Week's Placement: Fifth
Wins: 0
Benefactress Badges: 1
Not Cut Off

With one Benefactress Badge, Plastique is very much in the hunt for the crown. Unfortunately, aside from her impeccable fashion sense and social media prowess, she seems to be a bit boxed in. While more comfortable than she was on her original season, her performance/comedy skills aren't as strong as others and while I think she could earn another badge in a design challenge, I can't really see her nabbing the crown.

6. Jorgeous

Last Week's Placement: Fourth
Wins: 0
Benefactress Badges: 1
Not Cut Off

I think Jorgeous is similar to Plastique in that she has a few strong suits, but also a hand full of weaknesses that could hold her back. Unlike Plastique, however, I do think that if Jorgeous can manage to sneak into the top three, that she could win a lip sync battle for the crown. Ru loves her and she's a formidable lip sync assassin, especially if she's up against the likes of Gottmik and Nina West.

5. Nina West

Last Week's Placement: Third
Wins: 0
Benefactress Badges: 1
Not Cut Off

On All Stars 7, Trinity the Tuck made it into the finals with just three badges. I don't think it's at all out of the realm of possibility that Nina will earn two more given that there is likely to be at least two more comedy challenges. While her fashion sense is lacking and she was bolstered this week by Gottmik, Nina could make the finals. Let's just pray she doesn't bring another disastrous quick change ensemble like she did last week.

4. Vanessa Vanjie Mateo

Last Week's Placement: Eighth
Wins: 1
Benefactress Badges: 2
Not Cut Off

Miss Vanjie got EXTREMELY lucky this week in her procuring two Benefactress Badges, one because she's friends with Gottmik and the other partly because of having Roxxxy Andrews as a partner. But two badges means that she really only needs to secure one, maybe two, wins over the next seven episodes to end up in the top three. That is doable given how much charisma she does have.

3. Angeria Paris VanMichaels

Last Week's Placement: Second
Wins: 1
Benefactress Badges: 1
Cut Off

While Angeria only has one Benefactress Badge AND is cut off from winning one in next week's comedy challenge, I think she's demonstrated that she's a threat to win in every episode so far. She could pretty easily make it to the finals AND I think she's perhaps the strongest lip syncer of the bunch. Don't bet against APVM.

2. Roxxxy Andrews

Last Week's Placement: Seventh
Wins: 1
Benefactress Badges: 2
Not Cut Off

After seeming largely out of it last week, Roxxxy came roaring back this week by earning two badges, one for sewing Nina West's looks two episodes ago and one for sewing three whole looks this week. While Roxxxy's jack of all trades mentality seemed to spell trouble for her (as it did for Shannel), having two Benefactress Badges means she only needs to snag one or two more wins to move onto the finals. Something thats VERY doable for a competitor this strong.

1. Gottmik

Last Week's Placement: First
Wins: 2
Benefactress Badges: 2
Not Cut Off

With two individual wins, Gottmik is still far and away the queen to beat. She also somehow managed to not get cut off next week despite being the obvious front runner. She won the Snatch Game, so she could win another comedy challenge without too much trouble. Three queens are going to have to pass Gottmik in order to push her out of the finale and with each episode that passes that seems more and more unlikely. Hell, she managed to make Nina West's drag family garments look good this week and THAT is a feat.
