It’s almost time for WWE SmackDown!

The June 21, 2024, episode of SmackDown goes down live at Chicago’s Allstate Arena. WWE is advertising Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Bayley for the show this week.

Here’s what’s on tap for WWE SmackDown.

Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches

The Men and Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches kicked off on RAW this past Monday. IYO SKY and Jey Uso punched their ticket to the high-stakes match-up by winning their respective triple threat qualifiers.

SmackDown this week is set to witness two Men’s Money in the Bank qualifiers as well. Kevin Owens goes up against Andrade and Grayson Waller. Former Money in the Bank winner Randy Orton, meanwhile, squares off against Carmelo Hayes and Tama Tonga.

WWE might announce women’s MITB qualifiers in the lead-up to SmackDown as well.

Logan Paul & LA Knight face-to-face on WWE SmackDown

LA Knight wants a shot at Logan Paul’s United States Championship. Both men have traded shots on social media over the past few weeks. Knight even barged into Paul’s house uninvited last week where he told the champion to show up in Chicago with his title.

What will happen when the two charismatic stars come face-to-face this week on WWE SmackDown? Will the Maverick grant the Megastar a shot at the United States Championship? We will find out tonight.

How will Cody Rhodes respond to The Bloodline’s attack?

Cody Rhodes was jumped by The Bloodline following his “I Quit” match win over AJ Styles at WWE Clash at the Castle. Fortunately for the American Nightmare, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton arrived in time to take care of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

The Undisputed WWE Champion returns to SmackDown to pick up his heated feud with The Bloodline. How will Cody Rhodes respond to a Bloodline that has gone completely rogue in Roman Reigns’ absence?

CM Punk to appear on WWE SmackDown

You can’t have SmackDown in Chicago without CM Punk. The Second City Saint returns to the blue brand for the first time in nearly six months. He had previously traveled all the way to Glasgow to cost Drew McIntyre the world title match against Damian Priest.

Speaking of McIntyre, the Scottish Warrior was in a somber mood the last time we saw him. McIntyre ‘quit’ WWE on RAW last week, prompting concerns from both General Manager Adam Pearce and Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Is it just a ploy to get his hands on Punk? Chicago will know soon.
