WWE's Monday Night Raw set for Evansville show later this year

To borrow a line from The Rock: Finally, WWE's "Monday Night Raw" show is coming back ... to Evansville.

The professional wrestling show will air live from Ford Center on Sept. 30. Tickets go on sale April 12 at 10 a.m., according to a news release sent Friday morning by venue officials.

The list of performers, which officials note is subject to change, includes:

Cody Rhodes is a growing star in professional wrestling ranks. The son of wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes (known as "The American Dream"), Cody Rhodes will take part in two matches this weekend at WWE's biggest annual event, "Wrestlemania 40." The first night, he'll team with Seth Rollins in a match against The Rock and Roman Reigns. On Night 2, Rhodes will face Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.
