Zac Efron is ready for the start of something new.

And no, it's not auditioning for the spring musical. Instead, the High School Musical alum has his sights set on starting a family.

"For so much my life I've been just really focused on my career and the next movie," he exclusively told The Rundown's Erin Lim Rhodes at the premiere for A Family Affair. "And it's kind of always been about that for me. So having some time off recently has really made me reflect, and I think I'm ready for it."

And the 35-year-old has been getting training in at home thanks to his half-siblings Olivia, 4, and Henry, 3.

"I just love being around 'em," he said of his dad and stepmom's kids. "So they're kind of getting me ready for it."

Plus, if the Iron Claw star's reaction to his 32-year-old brother Dylan's casting on the next season of The Traitors is any indication, Zac already has that unconditional support on lock.

"I think Dylan's going to win," he added. "I hope he does, because he's so good at games. He always has been since we were kids. He's like the game master."

He continued, "If anyone can do this, it's him. I'm rooting for him."

It would be a fitting time for Zac to embark on a journey towards parenthood. After all, his fellow HSM alums Vanessa Hudgens—who Zac dated between 2005 and 2010—and Ashley Tisdale are both currently expecting, and if there's one thing about Wildcats, it's that they're all in this together.

As Zac told E! News in March, "I'd love to have kids one day."
