Sara Lee, Nature’s Harvest Breads Recalled Over Glass Fragments

Certain bread products under six brands – including Nature’s Harvest, Kroger, and Sara Lee — are being recalled due to possible presence of glass fragments.

The glass came from a broken light bulb at one of the Bimbo Bakeries USA bakeries, which produces the products. There have already been three reports of small glass pieces being found on the outside of the bread, but fortunately no injuries have been linked with the recall.

L’Oven Fresh, Great Value, and Bimbo brand bread products are also affected by the recall; all affected products have a Bakery Code of 1658.
