Most dogs seem to enjoy Christmas. They love looking at holiday lights, they love curling up for a nap under the tree and they seem to understand that the holiday season is a time of joy, love, gratitude and giving.. cats, on the other hand seem to have a lot of problems with the most wonderful time of the year.

And here are 10 cats that prove that when Christmastime comes around, cats turn into the Grinch.

1: This cat, who really, really hates her owner serenading her with Christmas carols. 

This video, posted by the TikTok account for @daniellev98 shows a Siamese cat who would really love her owner to knock it off with the good tidings of Christmas cheer. Or as @Joyce says, "Your cat really was like those are fighting words I’m taking you out."

2: This other cat, who thinks her Christmas sweater is a mess of garbage. 

This video posted by TikTok user @lifewithcleoandjack shows Cleo the cat who has absolutely no desire to wear this ugly Christmas sweater. Kantola comments, "Cleo looks like she wants to speak to the manger."

3: A cat who decided that no, he was the angel on top of the Christmas tree. 

Donut, a cat at the TikTok account @a_cat_called_donut_, decided that the only angel angelic enough for the top of the holiday tree was him, and even though he broke the tree in half getting on top of it, tough luck. @Kitten commented, "That is the face of a cat that doesn’t give a flying fluff about the naughty list."

4: This cat, who wasn't about to let her owner get any Christmas wrapping done. 

This video, posted by the TikTok account for @l.a.r.a.a.n.d.p.h.i.l is just a perfect example of orange cat energy. Just wait until mom busts out the ribbons and bows. @Bored suggests, "Wrap the cat like a burrito!" Umm, sorry Bored, the correct term is purr-rito.

5: This cat, who has zero interest in matching with mom at Christmas.

There is nothing angrier than the black cat at TikTok account @loveslifeliterally who hates nothing more than wearing a matching cat collar to his owner's pajama pants. Nothing. @Ashley commented, "Bah Humbug!"

6: This other cat, who wants a poor animatronic Rudolph to shut up.

So I'll admit it, if the Rudolph in the video posted by the TikTok account for @applepaper257 actually sounds like it does in the video, I'm team cat on this one.

7: This cat, who has a very pointed reaction to hearing a Christmas story being read. 

'Twas the night before Christmas and if the cat at TikTok account @robswizzle has anything to say about it they will never hear this beloved Christmas classic again.

8: This cat, who finds Advent calendars really stupid. 

Tim at TikTok account @georgebblair thinks his owner's advent calendar belongs on the floor.

9: This cat who thinks holiday stockings are a bunch of BS. 

Cocoa at the TikTok account @hott1995 doesn't even care if her stocking is filled with catnip, it's going down.

10: This cat, who really, really doesn't understand the reason for the season.

TikTok account user @spooksister has a cat that just full-on ate the nativity.

Maybe it's all the noise, maybe it's having their precious naps interrupted by Christmas cheer, maybe they don't get a live mouse in their stockings like they really want, or maybe it's the fact that all cats are determined to destroy the Christmas tree. Cats just couldn't care less for Christmas. Bah humbug, indeed. Or should we say... meow humbug.
