Aaron Rodgers' first season with the New York Jets got off to a bad start, tearing his Achilles' heel just minutes into his first game. While Rodgers is effectively benched for the season, that hasn't stopped the quarterback from raking in some major moolah.

Rodgers has been making frequent appearances on ESPN's The Pat McAfee Show to give interviews and discuss recent happenings in the sports world. "Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays," as the weekly spots are called, have been a major financial boon for Rodgers.

"Aaron has made over $1,000,000 with us, for sure," McAfee told The New York Post about the Super Bowl champ. The show first launched in 2019, and McAfee made the jump to ESPN earlier this year to the tune of $85 million over five years, per Forbes. On Oct. 12, McAfee later addressed the reports of Rodgers' big paychecks and defended his decision to compensate the star quarterback handsomely for his time.

Over the years, Rodgers has made plenty of memorable appearances on The Pat McAfee Show. Before signing with the Jets, he teased about where he would end up, and earlier this year, he announced on McAfee's show that he planned to play for the team in the 2023–24 season.

The Pat McAfee Show has also drawn controversy related to Rodgers' appearances. Back in 2021, Rodgers confirmed for the first time on air that he wasn't vaccinated against COVID-19 and revealed he took ivermectin to treat his COVID infection. The show remains Rodgers' go-to venue to spread his COVID stances; just a few days ago, he floated the idea of challenging Kansas City Chiefs star and Pfizer spokesperson Travis Kelce—whom he referred to as "Mr. Pfizer"—to an on-air debate.

If Rodgers needs a gig after he retires, he's already well-versed in the art of sports television.
