‘Absolute Legend’ Kevin Bacon Celebrates 65th Birthday

Kevin Bacon is "walking into 65" with a little sunshine and a smile!
The beloved actor strolled happily right across last year's finish line as he celebrated the start of his next trip around the sun today, July 8.
Set to a sped-up version of "Killing Me Softly with His Song" by the hip-hop group Fugees, Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, took on a popular new video trend to mark the occasion, in which the creator starts off the shot by filming themselves selfie-style for a stretch before smoothly handing off the camera to someone else, allowing the frame to widen and show off more of the person.
In the clip posted to Instagram earlier today, the two strutted across a fenced-in field on their farm, a smattering of red barns, two mini horses, an alpaca, and a hoard of goats making up much of the background in the late afternoon sun (or perhaps early morning) sun.
Sedgwick grinned at her hubby's side as the video opened, while Bacon smiled widely at the camera he held out as the couple and two pigs walked in step. As someone else took control the rest of their bodies camera into view, showing off their work boots as they treaded through the dirt and grass.
"Walking into 65 🥳," he captioned the cheery clip.
As one fan pointed out, "[age is] just a number." One that looks great on him, of course.
"65 and an absolute legend!" another declared.
"65 looks good on you , Sir!" someone else complimented. "Happy Birthday. I hope it's a good one . ♥️"
"Happy Birthday! We should all look that good when we turn 65!" another hoped. "Incredible!!!"
"I mean come on," another comment read, looping Sedgwick into the conversation, "this couple never ages."
Sedgwick also took to her own Instagram account to wish a happy birthday to her "only one," sweetly adding, "love you so," in the caption of the black and white snap.
