Adele knows her way around a black dress. The singer's signature aesthetic is all about classic glamour that manifests in smoky eyes, winged liner, perfectly placed hair, and dark, tailored gowns that are straight out of a moody cocktail bar. To compliment the look, she usually sticks to simple, elevated nails to perform in. Think gold chrome, long French tips, and hot chocolate brown.

However, for weekend 31 of her Las Vegas residency, Adele wore a rather adventurous manicure, opting for a half-nude, half-black tuxedo manicure that was just as fun as it was formal.

On October 15, Adele shared an Instagram carousel of her full performance look—giving us an up-close look at the nails, hair, makeup, and details that popped just as much from the back row as the front.

Immediately once we saw the look, we had to zoom in on the nails done by her long-time nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt. Medium-long and almond-shaped, the nails were a fun spin on classic French tips. Each of her nails had a "your nails but better" base, courtesy of a skin-matching nude shade. Then, where the tips of her nails would naturally form, they divided in half. One side had a dark black, which starkly contrasted with the other side, which continued the same nude shade up to the tip. At the beginning of the tip, right in the middle of where the two colors intersect, was a small rhinestone for some extra glamor.

Though the half-and-half nails really caught our eye, we also couldn't help but stare at her hair and makeup.

Her glam was a signature Adele moment. On top of matte skin with sculpting bronzer and a touch of blush, the star wore a crisp eye look. Eyeliner coated her upper waterline in a thick stroke that continued to a short cat eye. Above the dark liner was a shimmery espresso-like color, which trickled from more shimmery in her inner corner to a darker matte shade over her wing. A warm-toned nude lip finished off the glam.

The singer's hair was just as glamorous as you would expect. Bleach blonde with darker blonde roots, her hair was full of volume, shine, and bounce. She parted it in a loose side part and with full, fluffy waves.

The dress completed her look, a black velour gown with an off-the-shoulder silhouette. However, instead of the typical off-the-shoulder moment, there were thin gold sequin straps that laid on her shoulders and continued down throughout the dress, forming geometric patterns.
