Adorable Corgi Cafe in the Philippines Has Travelers Booking a Plane Ticket

No matter who you are or where you are, you can bet that you'll meet people with an appreciation for traveling. It's normal to want to see the world, but only some of us are able to visit all the sites around the globe we'd like to visit. And for people like me, that list is a long one.

It doesn't surprise me that I have a few dog-related destinations on my bucket list, like Costa Rica's Territorio de Zaguates, or 'land of the strays.' And now that I've seen one travel blogger's post about a visit to this Corgi cafe in the Philippines--another place has been added to my travel list!

Her January 21 video has lots of people talking because the cafe, the location, and the dogs are all so great. Some of the Corgis are especially unique, but they're all friendly and completely worth booking an airline ticket for.

It looks like @angelikejemp.ugc had the best time at this priceless dog cafe. And who wouldn't? The space looks large, the dogs appear happy and healthy, and visitors are practicing handwashing! The cafe even thought of providing lids on drinks, which is always a smart safety tip when dogs are around.

BRB--booking my vacation! This cafe, called Isla Corgis, is located on the Philippine island of Siargao, AKA the 'Surfing Capital of the Philippines.' The island vibe definitely matches with the cafe's beachy aesthetic, though it's hard to pay attention to anything else besides the adorable dogs. Let's be honest--they're why everyone visits!

This cafe, and many others, were inspired by the original cat cafe concept. Animal lovers are taking all kinds of heartwarming spins on the idea, with some dog cafes being breed-specific and others featuring rescue dogs only!

Corgis: Tail or No Tail?

While some viewers were gushing over the floppy-eared dog named Sneezy (it looks like they have names inspired by Disney's Snow White), others couldn't get over the fact that these Corgis have tails. As it turns out, though, tail length is a distinguishable way to tell the two Corgi breeds apart in the dog show business.

While a Cardigan Welsh Corgi always sports a long tail, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi has a different breed standard. Even though some of these dogs are naturally born with a short 'bob' tail, others who are born with a long tail have it docked to meet breed standards. If you ask me, the breed standard should reflect how a dog looks naturally!

Whatever your stance on Corgi tails may be, it's impossible to deny how cute and well-thought-out this dog cafe is. If you ever find yourself in the Philippines, try to stop by!
