Alba Baptista Bonds with Chris Evans' Rescue Boxer in Precious Photos
Captain America Chris Evans is just not a hero to Marvel fans worldwide, but he's also a hero to his adorable rescue dog named Dodger. Evans isn't the only family member sharing special moments with this cute pup, because his new bride Alba Baptista is becoming one of Dodger's favorite humans too, judging from her Instagram. Evans and Baptista recently celebrated their love by having two weddings, one in Baptista's home country of Portugal and the other in a private home in Cape Cod, Mass. in September.

Evans adopted Dodger in 2017, and he recently celebrated National Dog Day by visiting shelter dogs and giving them treats from the dog wellness brand Jinx.
According to People, Dodger did not don a Halloween costume this year. "Evans also confirmed that Dodger will not be dressing up for Halloween this year after jokingly recounting the time when he tried to put booties on the now nearly 9-year-old dog for a winter hike.
“You could be holding a raw sirloin steak, five feet, and he will not move,” he recalled of Dodger's dismay over the paw accessories. “Whether it’s booties or a costume, I’ve forced sweaters and things on him and he just freezes. He hates it.”

It's really lovely to see how Baptista has bonded with Dodger because a lot of times someone owning a pet before they tie the knot can cause strife in a relationship.
You really have to give serious thought to deciding whether to boo up with someone who doesn't love your fur babies as much as you do. Sure, there are plenty of cases of people who never wanted a pet falling in love with a pet but that's a risk few animal-lovers are willing to take.
It's just so sweet that his new bride loves Dodger as much as Evans does!
