Alexa Demie Spoke with “Who What Wear” About Her “Euphoria” Beauty Routine and Future Plans

The star has plans for a “fashion empire.”

Since its television debut, Euphoria has made waves in the beauty and fashion communities for its inventive style. From glitter-filled makeup routines to Rue's maroon hoodie, everyone is eager to recreate their own version of a Euphoria-inspired look, and as Alexa Demie explained, the stars of the series are touched by the admiration.

Speaking with Who What Wear, the star, who portrays Maddy Perez on the series, said she's definitely noticed the love for her character's beauty routine. “To see all of the girls and boys re-creating the makeup looks and wearing the outfits—it’s really exciting,” she said. As she noted in the interview, the idea of fans loving her television looks is particularly exciting, as Alexa worked directly with the show's makeup team to decide on what her character's overall style would be.

That experience of taking charge of styling decisions might lend itself to Alexa's next venture too. She told WWW that she intends to pursue a career as a "full-fledged fashion empire." She didn't share what the empire might entail, and whether anything Euphoria-related might show up in her pursuits, but she did explain why she's pursuing something new. "It’s something I’m actively working on that you’ll see soon enough," she said. "Rather than waiting around to get picked as the face of an established brand, it’s like, why not create your own?”

The sky seems to be the limit when it comes to Alexa's future, and she shared what advice she has for others hoping for a brighter tomorrow. “You just have to keep going, even if you don’t see the reward right away, because it’s going to come at some point,” she said. “It’s all timing. The universe knows what it’s doing. You just have to trust it.” Looks like the universe was right on time with Alexa.
